WCRD, 91.3-FM is Ball State University’s student-run radio station.

The news department at WCRD is made entirely of a volunteer staff of students ranging in majors from journalism and telecommunications to business and meteorology. There are three arms of the news department that you can hear on WCRD:

• 2 minute news briefs at the top of the hour from 9:00am until 4:00pm.
• WCRD “News at 5″ – a thirty minute look at local, regional, national, and international stories as well as arts entertainment that airs Monday through Friday at 5:00pm.
• Special reports and interviews covering on-campus, local, and regional stories of interest.
